April Update

Let's dive straight into April, firstly we were lucky enough to enjoy a fantastic holiday to Tunisia with family, parents, brothers, nieces, nephews and our clan with the exception of my cub who sadly had to work. We ate and drank too much, laughed and I even got to drive a speedboat, we have only been back a week and I miss being able to see most of my family at breakfast, it has made me realise I need to spend more time with my family!

Prior to the holiday I joined kindle unlimited and also the audio books on amazon, I'm not the best person at sitting still and as we were a little unsure if it was safe to venture outside of the hotel complex I figured I should probably have some form of entertainment. We were indeed safe but I am so glad that I downloaded the audiobooks as I selected to use my months credit on one entitled 'Let them', and so far it certainly has had an impact.

With renovating a house, three dogs, four children, a shift job and being a self employed artist there is very little time for much else. I need to make time to spend with my family, friends and doing things I enjoy. Whilst everything will get done, I need to learn to prioritise better, I highly recommend the book to everyone.

I've been toying with the idea for some time of starting a podcast and I have made my first one, it's available on both Spotify and YouTube. I have so many ideas for future podcasts and I am in the process of saving up for the blue yeti microphone (in blue of course). The first episode of 'Chatty Canvas' has helpful tips and hints in regards to spotting con artists and scammers, something I have had personal experience with since starting the pet portrait side of my business.

I still have two pieces on my drawing board hoping both will be completed in the next few weeks and a further two to start.
