February update

I can't believe that we are nearly into another month, I am also astonished and grateful to all those that have ordered pet portraits from me, I'm loving every minute of bringing to life their gorgeous companions.

You'll remember I had Ben the lovable border collie to finish, I have indeed completed all three portraits and his Mum and Dad were thrilled, it was even better as I got to hand deliver them and see their reaction in person.

Completed with the Pablo coloured pencils, brush and pencils touch up and titanium white, the paper is the fantastic Arches hot press watercolour paper 350 gsm so nice an thick.

The next thing to fly off my little drawing board was not a pet portrait, it's one of my favourite animals

'Flutter by' coloured pencils and watercolour on drafting film. I recently paid for the store option on my site and so need some shiny art to sell, I'm planning on doing a series of English wildlife that I can have printed onto mugs and cushions to sell here so watch this space.

That leads me to finish this post with a couple of shots of my current portrait a beautiful Labrador, as you can see there's much more work to do yet.
